Under general supervision, preplans and executes or performs maintenance, construction and testing tasks to maintain operation of the plant and systems. Performs common electrical and instrument and controls work consistent with training to maintain operation of the plant and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must meet the Company's "General Requirements," and, in  addition:

1. Must successfully complete the Nuclear Technician - Mechanical (1505) Modular Training Course.   

2. Must demonstrate:  

• The ability to follow detailed instructions and carry out complex assignments.  
•  An aptitude for mechanical and technical work.  
• Keen faculties of observation.  
• Oral and written communications skills necessary or performance of the work.  

5. Must have successfully completed the appropriate Pre-Employment Tests except that an employee hired prior to May 1, 1977 who has or obtains a high school diploma or its equivalent does not have to complete the Pre-Employment Tests.  

6. Must be able to qualify for an auto driver's license to operate vehicles in the State of New Jersey.

7. A valid Real ID or an approved form of alternate documentation (https://www.pseg.com/IDrequirement) is required for this job.
