Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Senior Fleet Support Administrator to join our team in Dallas, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our fleet operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional support to our drivers and stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of fleet vehicles, including registrations, licenses, and maintenance schedules
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to minimize downtime and ensure optimal fleet performance
- Analyze fleet data and generate reports to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies related to fleet operations
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline fleet-related processes and enhance overall efficiency
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, addressing their concerns and providing timely support
- Oversee vehicle procurement and disposal processes, including lease negotiations and contract management
- Implement and maintain fleet management software systems to track vehicle performance and maintenance
- Develop and update fleet policies and procedures to enhance safety and operational effectiveness
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor fleet-related expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in fleet administration or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with fleet management software
- In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
- Fleet Management certification (preferred)
- Thorough understanding of fleet operations, maintenance procedures, and vehicle leasing/procurement processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks
- Customer service orientation with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Adaptability to changing industry regulations and emerging technologies in fleet management
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines consistently
