Job Summary

TDIndustries has exciting Internship opportunities available for students interested in partnering with aninnovative and growing organization. The Skilled Trades High School Internship is a paid work experienceprogram designed to provide individuals with exposure to roles and work in the construction and facilitiesservice industries. Interns will gain experience through a combination of practical work experience,mentorship,and training.

Essential Duties

• Work with an assigned mentor to complete daily tasks relating to the construction, manufacturing andfacility services industry.
• Learn and assist with responsibly operating hand and power tools under direct close supervision of ajourneyman/mentor.
• Conducts assigned daily job requirements with the utmost safety, quality, and productivity in mind.
• Gain an understanding of construction, manufacturing, and/or facilities service roles.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be in coming High School student in his/her Junior or Senior year.
• Course work in construction, architecture, ag mechanics, etc. preferred.
• Seeking opportunities in plumbing, electrical, welding, HVAC, sheet metal, etc. encouraged.
• Must be a team player and punctual.
• Must display a good attitude with desire to learn and follow directions.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Exhibit safety consciousness at all times.
