The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. This position will require you to meet hospital credentialing requirements for onsite customer visits. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing assigned equipment including Solventum Steri-vac™ Sterilizers in hospital and industrial environments
- Providing Preventative Maintenance (PM’s)
- Consulting to and providing In-Service training for customers
- Selling Sterilizers, Service agreements, charge service activities and generating sales leads on Solventum products
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or other technical field (completed and verified prior to start) AND Three (3) years of troubleshooting and repair of medical or industrial equipment experience
OR
- High school diploma, equivalent, or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND Seven (7) years of troubleshooting and repair of medical or industrial equipment experience
AND
- Current and valid driver’s license
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Skills include strong troubleshooting skills, time and territory management, excellent communications (both written and verbal) and a strong desire for continuous learning.
- Ability to work alone and be self-motivated
- Ability to push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
Work location:
- Remote – IL, OH or PA
Travel: May include up to 50-65% Domestic.
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized.
