IT Intern - Digital Productivity

 

 

Dorman Products, a nearly $2B global supplier of aftermarket motor vehicle parts with 3,500+ Contributors and 28 sites across the globe, is seeking a Digital Productivity Intern to join our team for the summer of 2024. For 10 to 12 weeks you will work independently to improve user experience and interaction with Dorman’s technology offerings. This team works at a very fast pace and supports IT project launches, technology communication and problem solving using Microsoft’s cloud applications. Through this internship, you will learn what it takes to deploy a successful application and how to communicate with all types of technology users. This is a hybrid role in our corporate location in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA) one to two days a week, with the opportunity to WFH the remaining days.

Primary Duties 
•    Create educational IT content for corporate distribution
•    Document new features and functions across a variety of cloud applications
•    Analyze user impacts and application usage data sets
•    Validate and test application features before general release to Microsoft users
•    Build forms and workflows using low code cloud solutions
•    Create reports and metrics based upon ticketing data and application usage
 

Qualifications
•    Curious, outgoing, organized, and eager to learn candidates will have a great opportunity for success.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
•    Experience working in Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint is preferred.
 

Education and/or Experience
•    Actively pursuing a 4-year bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or Business Administration
