The Position
Head of Technology Accounts and Software Asset Management
Head of Technology Accounts and Software Asset Management (Practice Leader) is accountable for the integrated management of major Technology Accounts (Platform, Cloud, and Software providers) and the Software Asset Management (SAM) practice. You will lead a team responsible for optimizing technology spending, maximizing ROI, and ensuring strict license compliance across the RDT landscape. This role requires a distinctive blend of technical proficiency in modern technology stacks and deep expertise in software licensing and asset governance.
Description of the area
Asset Management & Technology Accounts manages the lifecycle of RDT’s technology assets. This includes the governance of major technology partners (e.g., SAP, AWS, Microsoft) and the execution of SAM processes to ensure compliance and financial optimization. This sub-function ensures that these high-scale partnerships deliver maximum value through structured governance, risk management, and continuous improvement frameworks.
Job Responsibilities
SAM Governance: Own the functional roadmap for Software Asset Management. Ensure the entire lifecycle of software assets is managed to maintain compliance and minimize risk.
Stakeholder & Business Partnership: Serves as the main contact for internal partners, actively managing relationships and expectations regarding the (sub-)function's performance and deliverables. Works closely with IT stakeholders and internal users to identify, prioritize, and address the needs for policies, their operationalization, and associated controls.
Technology Account Strategy: Align technology account roadmaps with modern architecture (Cloud, AI/ML, SaaS) in regulated environments.
Asset Compliance: Lead enterprise-wide technology risk assessments and ensure timely remediation of findings or licensing deviations.
Operational Execution: Implement and oversee tools and processes for tracking asset utilization and license entitlement.
Operational Excellence: Define and monitor KPIs/OKRs to analyze vendor performance. Use data to drive continuous improvement and optimize the service delivery model.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of vendor account managers. Mentor staff and ensure alignment of resources with RDT project requirements.
Influence & Collaboration: Partner closely with Architecture, Security, and Finance to ensure technology platforms support critical business processes efficiently.
Qualifications
Education/Experience: 10+ years in IT Asset Management, Technology Sourcing, or IT Operations. Leadership experience in global, multidisciplinary teams is required.
Functional Skills: Strong understanding of modern technology landscapes (Cloud, DevOps, Digital Platforms). Expert knowledge of SAM frameworks and major vendor licensing models.
Leadership: Ability to lead through influence and partnership. Strong ability to mentor a technical team in a complex, global stakeholder ecosystem.

Salary range 23,300 - 43,300 PLN gross based on the employment contract.
