Director, Product Marketing (Distribution)

Transform our product marketing strategy! As the Director, Product Marketing (Distribution), you will set the strategy and vision for a team focused on executing marketing strategies to effectively position our products, driving sales growth and market penetration. You will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of product marketing services and programs aligned with business strategies to provide a competitive advantage. We are seeking applicants with excellent communication skills, strong management abilities, and a deep understanding of the ERP market.

What you will be doing:

• Oversee the design and implementation of product marketing services and programs aligned with business strategies to provide a competitive advantage.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and priorities for Epicor products in aligned verticals and territories, analyzing potential partner relationships.
• Manage a team of 4 product marketing experts.
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Epicor ERP in the distribution industries we serve.
• Promote the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop sales tools that support the selling process.
• Provide expertise on your buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition.

What you will likely bring:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
• Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
• Capability to drive strategic direction.
• Good knowledge of the current marketplace and competition in ERP for aligned verticals and territories.

What could set you apart:

• 8+ years of progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Master’s degree preferred.
