About the role
Gopuff is looking for a People Systems Manager who can lead the strategic planning of the Human Resources (HR) technology team and at the same time has a strong hands on Workday systems and processes. This role will report under the TPD department under head of enterprise systems. Experience in implementing and managing Workday HRIS and payroll systems is essential for this role to improve quality and business processes related to HR systems and analysis. You Will:
- Manage and support HRIS systems
- Work with HR leadership to align and understand business strategies and develop plans for HR Systems.
- Manage support issues with IT Team by clearly articulating root cause and provides confidence in issue resolution.
- Grow and develop the HRIS team
- Resolve cross-functional opportunities to ensure an exceptional support level
- Manage relationships with HR system vendors, ensuring effective service delivery, adherence to SLAs, and proactive identification of opportunities for improvement.
- Foster and lead by example required behaviors within IT communities
- Drive work in line with the organization’s mission, operations, structure, and goals; understands informal structures and processes of the organization; understands organization-level implications of his or her day-to-day decisions.
- Research and identify enabling solutions, best practices, and technologies to proactively address customer requirements.
- Identify, monitor, and respond to risk, issues, and dependencies.
- Stay updated on Workday technology: Keep abreast of emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes related to HR systems.
- Identify opportunities to leverage new tools or technologies to enhance HR processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define security roles, access controls, and permission sets, ensuring the appropriate level of data security and segregation of duties.
- Be a strong advocate of change management policies and compliance
You Have:
- Workday HR business knowledge and experience including full employment lifecycle (hire to retire).
- 8+ years of extensive HR Systems implementation and development including payroll and benefits administration with minimum of 4 years in Workday
- Understanding of accounting, especially as it relates to payroll
- Knowledge of SaaS solution APIs/interfaces and experience planning and technology roadmap development
- Experience in designing dashboards and analytical views for HR management, corporate insights, and frontline leadership
- Attention to detail with the ability to effectively exercise critical thinking to solve issues.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills within SaaS applications.
- Experience in managing case tracker like service now, JIRA in order to create operational excellence for the team
Compensation:
- Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. The salary range below reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
