What You Will Do:
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for designing and implementing an organization's IT infrastructure to align with its business objectives. This role involves creating strategic IT roadmaps, ensuring system integration, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. The Enterprise Architect collaborates with stakeholders to ensure that IT solutions meet both current and future business needs.
Responsibilities of this role are as follows, to include but not limited to:
Design, deploy, and manage functional networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN).
Configure and install network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Monitor network performance and ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network issues.
Implement and oversee network security measures, including access controls and disaster recovery plans.
Automate network tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Maintain detailed technical documentation for network systems.
Suggest improvements to enhance network performance and scalability.
What You Will Need:
Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust
TEN (10) or more years of experience in enterprise architecture and/or cloud architecture
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
ITIL Certification
Cloud FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP)
Experience as a Senior Network Engineer and/or Network Administrator.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Existing DHS Suitability.
Experience supporting federal government customers and/or prior experience within the federal government.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for network automation.
Experience with network security and access control models.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Consultants need to effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences, build strong client relationships, and collaborate with diverse teams.
Adaptability and Learning - The IT landscape is constantly evolving, so consultants should be eager to learn new technologies and adapt to changing client needs.
Customer-Centricity - Understanding and addressing client needs is crucial, and consultants need to be able to tailor solutions to meet specific business goals.
Business and Technical Acumen - A successful consultant can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.
Demonstrated experience leading technology implementations/transformations, specifically with large-scale technology transformation programs (i.e., strategy through execution) with an emphasis in operations.
Demonstrating IT strategy skills by being able to develop and document business visions, technology strategies, and project roadmaps.
Experience leading teams of at least (10) consultants/IT Practitioners.
Experience supporting emergency management security sector customers.
