JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Penn State Justice and Safety Institute (JASI), within Penn State Outreach, is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to become an integral member of the Program Development and Support Services team as a Project Manager for the Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement Training Institute (PACSETI). This individual will be expected to work cooperatively with the teams responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining online course materials and systems. The successful candidate must coordinate and manage software and course development following project requirements, organize team resources, and coordinate projects across units throughout Penn State and with outside vendors. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently with little supervision and as part of a team. The successful candidate should have excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills and knowledge of systems and processes used to deliver online courses.
Education and Experience:
Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus two years of related experience. Experience in course design, development, and delivery services preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaboration skills, and effective teamwork are essential.
Additional Information:
This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. The expectation is three (3) days onsite and two (2) days remote per week.

This fixed-term appointment is funded for one year from the date of hire with an excellent possibility of re-funding.
