What you will do
We are seeking a visionary, strategic, and hands-on Senior User Experience (UX) role to elevate our digital touchpoints and embed design thinking across Clarios. This role will be instrumental in shaping our end-to-end digital experiences for employees, customers, and consumers, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with user needs and business goals.
As the Senior UX, you will define our UX vision and roadmap, champion user-centered design, and partner closely with business, product, and technology leaders to deliver seamless, impactful experiences. You will balance strategic leadership with hands-on design execution, driving a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
How you will do it
Vision & Strategy
- Define and drive the UX vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap in partnership with product, engineering, and business leaders.
- Establish UX as a core differentiator in Clarios’ digital ecosystem, aligning initiatives with corporate strategy.
Design Leadership & Execution
- Champion user-centered design principles, ensuring the voice of the employee, customer, and consumer is embedded in every solution.
- Lead the creation of wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and user flows for digital web and mobile platforms.
- Develop and maintain UX standards, guidelines, and design systems for consistency and scalability.
Research & Insights
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative research to uncover user needs, pain points, and opportunities.
- Translate insights into actionable design solutions, measuring and iterating based on real-world feedback and performance metrics.
Collaboration & Influence
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate UX best practices into product development, marketing, and change management initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and brainstorming sessions to foster alignment and creativity.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Track emerging trends, tools, and technologies in UX and design thinking to inform and evolve Clarios’ capabilities.
- Promote accessibility, inclusivity, and sustainability in all design efforts.
To succeed in this role, the individual must have a sound knowledge of User Experience and Design Thinking strategies in addition to internal business acumen that complement the work.
- User Experience Expertise: Proven track record of creating intuitive, high-quality digital interfaces that drive adoption and satisfaction.
- Design Thinking: Ability to apply a structured, human-centered approach to solving complex challenges.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of corporate operations and the ability to align design solutions with business outcomes.
- Change Leadership: Experience driving organizational adoption of design-led thinking.
- Project Management: Strong planning, prioritization, and delivery skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills; ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
What we look for
- Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive UX leadership and design experience, ideally in a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX process, from research and ideation to delivery and iteration.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Experience with UX research methods, usability testing, and accessibility standards (WCAG compliance).
- Skilled in agile and iterative design processes.
- Ability to travel up to 10%
