Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer for Simulation and Training Products. Our products are used to represent the world’s most advanced combat systems, supporting a variety of mission areas and uses. In this role, you will work on software and test execution. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Object-Oriented Software Engineering, C++/Java, and Linux/Unix.

Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

-Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Computer Engineering or in a closely related field.

-Experience using C/C++, Java, Matlab, and/or Python.

-Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills

-Experience with Network Topology Configuration, Modeling Tools, Static Code Analysis tools.

-Experience in Model Based Engineering and related tools.

-Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Crucible, Confluence) or Gitlab.

-Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills required.

-Familiarity with Linux and/or Unix.
