Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager in our Business Management practice, you will serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, families, and their enterprises, in the entertainment industry. You will oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest level of service while leading and mentoring a team to deliver exceptional results. Key responsibilities include:
Client & Financial Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and external advisors.
Review and prioritize client and vendor communications to ensure timely and appropriate action.
Oversee client payables and approvals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoice processing, bill payments, and wire transfers.
Review general ledgers, bank reconciliations, cash flow statements, financial statements, and other key financial reports for completeness and accuracy.
Review tax-related filings and packages, including annual 1099s, year-end tax packages, payroll tax returns, and business license forms.
Strategic Advisory & Special Projects
Coordinate and lead client meetings, providing financial insights and guidance.
Collaborate with tax professionals, insurance brokers, and other advisors to support clients’ broader financial and operational needs.
Participate in specialized projects such as real estate or automobile purchases, insurance policy reviews, investment subscription documents, or loan applications.
Support business development initiatives and contribute to expanding client relationships.
Leadership & Team Collaboration
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Collaborate across teams to resolve issues, support tax examinations, and enhance client service.
Uphold best practices in financial reporting, compliance, and client service delivery.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in business management for high-net-worth individuals, families, or entertainment clients.
Proven success managing complex client structures, including trusts, partnerships, LLCs, and loan-out corporations.
Deep knowledge of financial reporting, cash flow oversight, and accounting principles, with the ability to interpret and advise on financial matters.
Experience overseeing client operations such as budgeting, payables, investment activity, and real estate or asset transactions.
Track record of leading teams, fostering professional growth, and delivering high-touch client service.
Demonstrated ability to cultivate trusted client relationships and collaborate effectively with outside advisors.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA, CFP, or equivalent credential preferred.
Established network within the entertainment and professional services community.
