Security Officer

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Represents our company as the first initial contact to customers when they arrive on our property

•  Customer service is number one priority

•  Report to all scheduled shifts on time  

•  Maintains safe & secure environment by patrolling the premises 24/7

•  Foot patrol & motorized golf cart patrol of service areas and parking lots as well as interior of buildings

•  Main building locks/unlocks procedure and RV locks/unlocks procedures

• Prevents losses & damages by reporting any irregularities

• Complete incident reports for any damage, accidents, or injuries

•  Assist in directing customers to their desired destination

•  Monitor video surveillance equipment

•  Prepared to direct any emergency vehicles arriving on property to the proper location in a swift and timely manner

•  Respond to any employees who need assistance with locks/unlocks

•  Assist with locating vehicle lot locations

• Provide escorts to customers when arriving for service or delivery

• Provide escorts to Resort customers upon after hours arrival

• Provide proper access gate control

• Properly documenting all incoming and outgoing vehicles through the access gates

• Provide extra coverage to the golf cart valet area when needed

• Respond to emergency situations – CPR and AED certified

• Enforce proper parking in designated areas of the property

• Properly scan all inventory and service units each night

• Attend all company required meetings

•  Additional responsibilities as requested or required

 

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/PROFICIENCY STANDARDS:

• Florida Driver’s License & clean driving record

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English

• Some security related training preferred

• Good judgement & communication skills

• Must have excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written

• Must be able to multitask in a fast paced, high-volume environment

•  Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations, and work thoroughly and quickly under pressure

 

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent desired, but not required
