About the role

The Recruitment and Hiring Assistant works with the Human Resources leadership team to manage and coordinate organization-wide efforts. The successful candidate will be involved

in all facets of the Human Resources function. (S)he will need to be a self-starter and able to work without direct supervision.

Recruiting & Hiring:

• Oversee recruiting and hiring efforts for the General Office team, as needed

• Conducting interviews and reference checks for General Office job openings, as

needed

• Assist other locations with interviews and reference checks for job openings, as

necessary based on the level of support needed

• Assist all locations with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies

• Ensure the company is adhering to all hiring/recruiting laws and regulations,

including but not limited to equal opportunity employer, licensing requirements, etc.

• Oversee and manage job descriptions

• Oversee and maintain ADP onboarding profiles and form; oversee administrative

permissions for the recruitment and onboarding portal.

• Assist employees and managers with ADP recruitment and onboarding questions

• Initiate, manage, and oversee companywide new hire employee orientation

• Extend virtual or onsite training related to recruiting, hiring, onboarding and

retention, as needed, to all locations (onsite requires appropriate advanced

approvals)

• Attend local job fairs to promote company brand and job openings. Assist other

locations with job fairs (requires appropriate advanced approvals)

• Oversee and manage company referral and sign on bonus programs

• Oversee and manage partnerships related to staffing agencies

• Oversee and initiate internal transfers

• Oversee and manage partnerships related to recruiters

• Assist with preparation of management offer letters


Reporting:

• Request monthly reports on vacancies from all locations

• Track app log for General Office; ensure all locations are in compliance with their

AAP logs

• Annually request app logs from all locations for AAP reporting and review for

accuracy

• Maintain veterans and disability tracking with regard to newly hired employees


Education and Experience

The following qualifications are preferred:

• Previous experience in the recruitment/Human Resources field

• Previous experience with Talent Aquisition


Required Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills. (word processing, database, spreadsheets)

• Proficiency in typing

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

• Proficient with detailed work, timely with recruitment requests
