Background & Purpose of the Job
This role is a unique opportunity to lead the E2E agenda for the #1 cell of Unilever’s second largest brand globally, Knorr. Foods North America is a $2B business built around two verticals, Cooking Aids & Mini Meals (Knorr) and Condiments (Hellmann’s). These brands have category-shaping scale and top-quartile performance among US food competitors.
Key responsibilities include strategic ownership of the performance and long-term health of the Knorr business – owning the P&L, shaping the marketing plans, crafting the portfolio, and leading a cross-functional team to sustainable success.

What You’ll Do
You need to bring a general manager’s mindset, not just to design and execute world-class demand generation programs, but to strategically lead this brand with an entrepreneurial spirit. You should have deep Marketing and commercial experiences. You will be leading the world of brand development (insights, mix/communication creation, agency partnerships and all-things-brand DNA) in a rapidly changing retail landscape, fierce competitive environment and fast-growing DComm landscape. Most importantly you need to be a great & growing leader of people and cross-functional teams. Our Foods team is strong, passionate and talented – and needs a purposeful leader to drive results to the next level.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of Marketing experience, Foods or well-rounded CPG experience preferred
- A proven track record of brand development/innovation program leadership – both core/renovation and new products/white space development
- Leading integrated communication programs, including the development of outstanding campaign rooted in social-first capabilities
- Drive for our digital transformation to adopt AI capabilities and new agency partnership models. Natural curiosity for emerging trends and technologies a must.
- Deep experience working with traditional and digital agencies to develop world class programs
- Financial acumen to own your P&L, understand how value is created through the brand, and shape growth plans
- Passionate about developing talent and teams, while both holding the bar high for performance and creating a psychologically safe environment
- Demonstrated passion for consumers we serve. Experience developing insight though consumer intimacy and translating such into business initiatives.
- Building strong cross-functional network to deliver through an extended team – welcoming category strategy, R&D, and supply chain voices to the table for effective collaboration
- Food industry experience a plus
- Sales and/or general management experience a plus
Pay: The pay range for this position is $210,600 to $421,200. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
