Discover how you can make a difference in the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world.</p><p></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst (SQA) to join our team in Sun Life, Ireland. This flexible hybrid working role will be based at our state-of-the-art office in Waterford, Ireland. The scrum master will report to the Associate Director of Software Engineering and occasionally to appropriate Engineering Directors.</p><p></p><p>As a senior SQA in Sun Life's Agile Excellence Domain, you will be part of our exciting journey as we embark on a multi-year transformation to a Digital Enterprise with a focus on driving forward new ways of working, bringing Business, IT and Operations closer together in delivering Client Value.</p><p></p><p>The senior SQA will support operational goals and objectives by working closely with software developers, SQA peers, and business stakeholders to review use cases and develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure application development meets or exceeds business requirements in an agile environment.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Perform testing in an agile team.</p></li><li><p>Work with the Development Team to develop and document test plans and test cases.</p></li><li><p>Review all documentation provided by the project teams and ensure full understanding of the documented requirements, technical enhancements, process development and workflow configuration required.</p></li><li><p>Create and execute test scripts using manual and automated testing as specified by company standards.</p></li><li><p>Document, communicate, and work to resolve all defects found during testing.</p></li><li><p>Seek team and stakeholder feedback on all test plans and test cases.</p></li><li><p>Diagnose, troubleshoot and research application/system issues as required and propose solutions to problems; provide resolution in a timely and accurate way, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.</p></li><li><p>Ensure defects are entered within the company’s Defect Tracking System with an appropriate sense of urgency and monitor/track progress through resolution.</p></li><li><p>Participate in all required meetings to gain additional requirement knowledge, confirm current state of project and stay apprised of any changes being made.</p></li><li><p>Create reusable test plans and test case templates and processes as needed.</p></li><li><p>Develop, execute, validate and document thorough and accurate regression and smoke test scenarios.</p></li><li><p>Prepare documentation using tools such as Visio, Word and Excel Participate in the testing of enterprise software upgrade initiatives.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Required</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related field.</p></li><li><p>5+ years’ experience in in software systems, programming, testing and quality assurance.</p></li><li><p>Experience developing testing strategies and identifying comprehensive test scenarios based on business requirements.</p></li><li><p>IT experience and/or understanding the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the agile methodology.</p></li><li><p>Strong Python development experience.</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of SOA, REST Web Services, JSON/XML.</p></li><li><p>Experience using automation tools, such as Selenium or similar.</p></li><li><p>Excellent analytical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to details.</p></li><li><p>Proven quality assurance analysis skills.</p
