The Sr Manager of Performance Analytics will have primary responsibility for personal and non-personal promotion performance analytics using both secondary analytics and machine-learning techniques for assigned customer groups such as marketing and sales, including analyzing, identifying and summarizing data insights of syndicated, secondary market data and omnichannel customer activity data for targeting, segmentation and performance measurement as well as market understanding purposes across omni-channels and sales force tactics.
Essential Functions:

Develop, lead and conduct predictive analysis and deep-dive analysis on omni-channel promotional impact, sales force effectiveness, targeting and customer segmentation to answer key business questions.

Synthesize data insights and statistical results into actionable insights and visualize the findings to enable compelling storytelling on brand performance and marketing resource optimization opportunity

Communicate the insights to cross functional partners

Define, track and monitor the key performance indicators for various marketing promotional channels including sales force driven metrics to better reach and serve the physicians and patients

Leverage rigorous statistical and machine-learning algorithms to evaluate and predict various marketing promotions and sales force analytics efficiently and accurately

Provide data and analytics inputs including modeling data preparation, exploratory data analysis and meta data analysis to internal analytics leads and business partners to enable timely delivering of insights for QBR and tactical planning sessions

Coordinate and manage daily activities of vendor support or technical staff effectively by interpreting customer/business needs and translating to technical requirements for the team. Provides direct guidance when technical issues arise

Partner seamlessly with other members of the Advanced Analytics and Omnichannel Customer Engagement team and identify collaboration opportunity and increase operation efficiency.

Work with cross functional partners on targeting, segmentation, sales force alignment and call planning as needed
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
-
Accredited Bachelor's degree
-
6+years of data science experience for marketing, sales and/or commercial initiatives.

Demonstrated competencies across descriptive, diagnostic and predictive analytics.

Proven expertise in statistical modeling and data analysis techniques including cluster analysis, multivariate regression/tree-based analysis, unsupervised/supervised ML, Bayesian/Monte Carlo/Bootstrapping etc

High proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, R, Python, or SQL.

Demonstrated ability and expertise in manipulating, analyzing complex data and visualizing data via standard tools, automated process and charting methods

Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights

Demonstrated excellent analytical skills and business acumen

Demonstrated strong process planning and organizational skills

Self-learner, strong critical thinker and problem-solving capability.

High proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Access/PowerPoint).

Ability to work independently and complete deadline without direct authority and navigate in ambiguous environment and agility to adapt changing priorities of the organization.

Ability to travel to the Deerfield office monthly or bi-monthly
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

Accredited Bachelor's degree in quantitative field or Master’s Degree in Quantitative field

Previous experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech industries

Demonstrated expertise in prescription commercial data processes and reporting analytics

Experience with media agencies, data partners and analytics consultants to onboard data &
