Meck Pre-K Assistant Teacher | Huntersville
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a NC Meck Pre-K Assistant Teacher for our NC 4-Star school in the Huntersville area. We are hiring immediately and would love to meet you!
Pay Range: $18-20 per hour, based on education, experience, and credentials.

Teacher Assistant Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with co-teacher, utilize the NC Meck Pre-K curriculum to prepare children for success in kindergarten and beyond.
- Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
- Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.
- Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education -OR- a minimum of 9 credit hours in ECE working towards an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working in a Meck PreK or NC PreK classroom preferred
