Finance Domestic Bank is responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of all Retail activities in ING’s home market, with a Balance Sheet of 200 billion euro and responsible for 40% of ING’s worldwide profit.The Financial Accounting tribe aims at finding the balance between high speed to continuously deliver on all regulatory changes and an efficient and up-to-standard way of working to process vast data sets according to strict IFRS and ECB rules.
In Finance Information Management, which is part of Financial Accounting Tribe within ING Domestic Bank Netherlands, we enable the delivery of valuable and reliable financial information and data of high quality to fulfil ING’s reporting obligations and to support decision making both for Financial Accounting and Finance Business Advice.
Information Management consists of a team of 25 people of different nationalities, most of them Business Analysts, working in squads with Dev Engineers. The team continuously adapts to changes in the bank’s business, its products, processes, services and IT infrastructure, to ensure proper reflection in the financial and management reporting. Together with the end users, the team is responsible to ensure we continuously comply with the changing regulatory reporting, business and data requirements. Within this challenging environment we give the opportunity to experiment, learn and adapt to bring the best possible future proof solutions and value to our stakeholders.
What will you do?
We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic Chapter Lead Business Analyst to be the hierarchical manager of around 8 Business Analysts (BA’s) of Finance Information Management . In this role, you also work on the craftmanship of the team, and you are responsible for setting standards for processes, methodologies, policies and tools which will be used by the BA’s.
Besides the business analysis chapter, you will also be leading a group of 3 colleagues who orchestrate data quality process, data privacy and the project portfolio within Financial Accounting, as well as monitor the control execution and run activities on Information Management perimeter.

- perform the PCB (Planning, Coaching, Appraisal) cycle with all chapter members
- ensure qualitative alignment between Business Analyst Chapter members and the Product Owners
- support & structure the growth and career trajectories of our Business Analysts
- enable our squads to make an impact
- discuss Business Analyst Chapter progress in skills development and future demand with management
- ensure as much as possible the use of ING standard processes and tools
- take a role in delivery, orchestrating activities related to data quality, financial accounting project follow-up, and monitoring of data privacy, information management controls and run activities
- act to enhance end-to-end process analysis and data skills among the team
Who are we looking for? Someone who has...
- 5+ years proven track record at management level in an Agile busdevops environment
- Experience as Business Analyst and leading projects
- Good knowledge of banking products and accounting processes
- Experience working in a data driven environment and strong analytical ski
