The Columbia, MD office is seeking an entry level, Branch Administrative Coordinator. This person will report directly to the Complex Operations Manager. Key responsibilities revolve around supporting branch onboarding and sourcing related activities

What You'll Be Doing

Onboarding / Offboarding Administrative Tasks
  • Set up and deactivate accounts/tools as part of onboarding/offboarding (Advisor Workplace, Ring Central, Gryphon, Credentialing).
  • Request, distribute, and collect key cards and physical keys; ensure timely return upon separation.
  • Create and manage basic onboarding/offboarding service now tickets; track progress through completion.
  • Process BOBs upon termination and support termination-related administrative follow-ups.
  • Support Broker Protocol requirements and related documentation/coordination as needed.
  • Office seating assignment and occupancy tracking

Sourcing
  • Partner with the sourcing team to generate and maintain candidate/associate flow.
  • Review Smartsheet progress and support follow-ups to keep sourcing activity on track.

Technology Escalation
  • Escalate outstanding technology tickets to Complex Technology Lead and track to resolution.

Branch Culture Events
  • Coordinate and support branch culture events.
  • Plan and execute quarterly branch fun events.
  • Coordinate the Branch Equitable Day of Service in partnership with leadership and volunteers.

Backup Front Desk in daily tasks
Basic technology troubleshooting (such as TVs, conference room camera, copiers, etc.)

The base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Able to work closely with both the leadership team and advisors
  • Ability to function independently and work well with a team

  • Proficient with Excel
  • Proactive decision-making skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate
  • Strong communication skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer support
  • Able to travel to offices consisting of Columbia, MD, Falls Church, VA and Richmond, VA.
  • Role is expected to be in office
