The Sandlot Cashier is responsible for money handling, entering all sales into register to ensure all purchases are recorded, assists with set up and station clean up.
Our ideal candidate is an individual who can work independently and communicate swiftly and consistently with their team and leadership. Making a lasting impression on our guests and ensuring that a five-star, white-gloved experience is made.
Ability to work evenings, holidays and special events may be required.
This position is considered an Hourly/ Seasonal/ Part-Time Employee
COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $15.79 to $16.27, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Position Type
Scheduling for this position will be managed through a flex workforce app, ReadyOn, in which shifts will be made available for you to select. There is no minimum guaranteed hours per week and hours will not exceed 25hrs/wk average annually.
Job Responsibilities
- Welcoming, engaging, smiling, and thanking every single guest
- Takes orders, processes credit card transactions with ease
- Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
- Ensuring that your area is stocked and beverages are iced down before the shift
- Communicating product outages or shortages to management
- Ensuring paperwork is filled out properly during each shift
- Quickly ringing up and charging guests correctly
- Balancing your drawer before and after every shift
- Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
- Provides excellent guest service
- Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Use all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) and annotate when equipment is not operable
- Take appropriate measures to ensure the security of client and company assets
- Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests about business-related activities and attend meetings, as required
- Work shifts that are 6 – 10 hours in length

Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older (Required)
- Previous cash handling experience prefered
- Requires daily lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50lbs.
- TEAM/ TiPS Certification (Required) – will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed)
- ServSafe or Food Safety Certification equivalent (Required) – will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed)
- Good written and verbal communication skills (Preferred)
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
This role will have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of PPE.
