Job Description

Primary Function of Position

Intuitive is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst to join our Global Operations Finance team. In this high-impact role, you will help drive strategic initiatives across our global manufacturing and operations network—including site expansions, supply chain optimization, and capital deployment. This is an exciting opportunity to shape Intuitive’s operational footprint while developing deep cross-functional expertise in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

We’re looking for a highly methodical, results-oriented finance professional who thrives in ambiguity, champions process improvement, and influences recommendations through data-driven insights. You will partner closely with teams across manufacturing, supply chain, facilities, and technical services, providing financial leadership that helps both near-term execution and long-term growth.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Help financial evaluation of global expansion efforts, including new manufacturing site development, capacity investments, and product transfers
  • Build ROI models, perform scenario analyses, and develop business cases to assist with capital investment selections
  • Partner with Technical Services and other stakeholders to help strategic planning and financial oversight
  • Develop and maintain dynamic financial models for forecasting, long-range planning (LRP), and executive-level presentations
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and forecasting accuracy across the Global Operations FP&A function
  • Assist SAP S4 implementation, including user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, and overhead allocation model design
  • Ensure data consistency and alignment across systems and regional finance teams

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant FP&A experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain environments
  • Knowledge of cost structures, capital investments, and operational metrics
  • Proven financial modeling and data analysis skills; Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with senior leadership
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a dedicated sense of ownership
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contending priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for operational excellence
  • This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week

Required Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or CPA preferred
  • Experience with SAP (ERP), Hyperion, Anaplan, and Tableau; SQL or data query skills a plus
