We believe in the power of cooperation, brainstorming, and last but not least, in the power that each individual person has to make a difference.</p><p><br/></p><p>As a <strong>Junior QA Engineer (Manual)</strong> you’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our new backend software (Bespoke cloud platform & Real-Time Collaboration Platform). You’ll have the opportunity to grow with the team, spearhead your career working in an autonomous environment and grow your testing capabilities whilst working closely with other QA Engineers.</p><h3></h3><h3><strong>Life as a Junior QA Engineer (Manual):</strong></h3><ul> <li>Execute test cases based on software requirements and specifications.</li> <li>Perform functional, regression, and system testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.</li> <li>Identify and report defects using test management tools and defect tracking systems.</li> <li>Work closely with developers and other team members to ensure software issues are resolved.</li> <li>Participate in the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and release.</li> <li>Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies as you gain experience and product knowledge.</li> <li>Ensure that software testing is conducted in a timely and efficient manner.</li> <li>Provide regular updates on the testing progress to project stakeholders.</li> <li>Adhere to established quality standards and guidelines for software development and testing.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Work experience in software quality assurance.</li> <li>Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.</li> <li>Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive bug reports.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.</li> <li>Experience with test management and defect tracking software (e.g. Jira, TestRail, Xray)</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills, willingness to learn and grow.</li> </ul><h3></h3><h3><strong>Nice to haves:</strong></h3><ul> <li>ISTQB certificate (e.g. Certified Tester Foundation Level).</li> <li>Experience in any kind of automation testing or willingness to upskill.</li> <li>Experience with other areas of testing e.g. performance, security or API.</li> <li>BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.</li> <li>Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.</li> <li>Related experience in software development.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Ways of working:</strong></p><ul> <li>Flexible working culture/schedule (your choice of how you would like to work) 🖼</li> <li>100% remote from anywhere in the world, relocate to Berlin (to work in our modern office ) or a hybrid solution 🌏</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Paid time off:</strong></p><ul> <li>27 vacation days and 1 extra day each year of employment ☀️</li> <li>Family first: 6 months full pay maternity & paternity leave 🤰🏿</li> <li>Social responsibility: Take 2 days off to volunteer in a charity event 🤝</li> <li>Period leave: take 1 day off per month 🙇♀️</li> <li>Recharge: 4 weeks of additional leave for every 5 years of employment 🔋</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Additional Benefits:</strong></p><ul> <li>Further education: Training budget and free language classes with Babbel 🗣</li> <li>Birthday Gift: €50 to treat yourself to a birthday gift 🎁</li> <li> <strong><a href="https://www.yourcamp.us/" rel="nofollow noreferrer
