Job Description
The Director of Business Development, Partnership & Strategy directs the strategic market and business development activities for a new product line. Plans, identifies, and develops targeted business relationships with other organizations to facilitate product development, revenue, and strategic goals. Own and drive the Strategic planning process for the Automotive Business Unit by taking economic and market trends and creating strategic plans with Sales and Product Mgt teams.
Major Job Functions:
- Constructs relationships with Automotive Finance organizations, to create a platform for revenue growth and facilitate growth in data accesses and interoperability.
- Establishes meaningful relationships and partnerships in targeted Automotive Financing channels for the delivery and integration of Experian’s services for innovative applications in the marketplace.
- Drive and prioritize Experian Automotive relationship and integrations on partner roadmaps.
- Manage identifying, negotiating, and executing strategic third-party and/or direct relationships.
- Builds a presence in targeted industries through trade show and association presence and presentations.
- Collaborates with top management in developing business plans and go-to-market strategy and tactics for a new product line.
- Work closely with the Stakeholders to have effective communications across partners and affiliates on our products, campaigns, and updates with the aim of effective communication sharing, grow the business and close relationship.
- To drive strategic engagement, follow up and grow existing partners and affiliates in formulation and commercialization of growth strategy to expand the business.
- Deliver great experience to partners and affiliates by presenting our brand and be the partners liaison internally and externally.
- Prospecting, identify and seek opportunity with other potential new partners or affiliates with the aim to work together in providing key values to both parties.
- Support the negotiation and contracting process with partners and affiliates.
- Help drive the Business units strategic planning process.
- Coordinate with the Head of Strategy, product owners, and Sales leaders to create a 5-year strategic plan that aligns with North America and Global goals.
- Manage all updates and monitor actions to strategic plan.
- Stay connected to Industry trends and markets to ensure strategic plans aligns to industry and economic factors.
- Ability to turn economic factors and trends into strategic plans and actions.
Qualifications
- MA/MS/MBA preferred.
- 8-10 years business development and sales experience.
- Experience with Automotive Financial Services organizations, Captives, Lenders, Loan origination systems, Servicing Systems, Core Systems, Dealer Management Systems, Credit Portals, and relevant automotive lending companies.
- Experience developing, articulating, and managing a 5-year strategic plan.
- Vision of Automotive market Ability to turn economic factors and trends into strategic plans and actions.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
