We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Developer / Business Development Executive to drive engineering sales for Engineering, Research and Development Services within Life Sciences domains. This role can be based in key U.S. regions including New England, New York, New Jersey, San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, Minneapolis, and Chicago.
Your role
- Bring Capgemini’s engineering services value to major Life Sciences clients in North America.
- Present, promote and sell solutions/services using proven arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closure of opportunities to drive profitable growth.
- Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline consistent with account strategy.
- Lead client relationships independently or with support from Client Partner or Client Leader.
- Structure and craft deals for value, demonstrating offerings and capabilities.
- Monitor client engagement levels and conduct periodic business reviews.
Your skills and experience
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience either selling engineering services to Tier One Life Sciences OEMs or working directly for a Tier One Life Sciences OEM.
- Experience delivering value added engineering solutions in one or more of the following functional areas: Research & Development (R&D), Manufacturing, Clinical, Regulatory, Laboratory or Quality.
- Bachelor’s degree – Engineering or Sciences Degree.
- Strong understanding of Life Sciences trends including Medical Devices, Cell and Gene Therapies, Biologics, and Gen AI.
- Experience Selling Life Science Manufacturing Engineering solution – PLM, MES, LIMS, QMS, and LS Industry SaaS applications like Veeva, TetraSciences, Benchling etc. preferred.
- Proven ability to seed, win and lead large strategic deals.
- Strong consultative relationship-building skills and senior-level client engagement.
