Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York provides programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses. Located at our NY Cares school in Mt. Kisco, NY, this position is responsible for providing direct instruction to students classified as ENL learners, consistent with their IEP goals. They will consult with the student’s classroom teacher on curriculum/instructional modifications to support their learning English, as well as content associated with their IEP goals. The ENL Teacher will also create curriculum as needed to address assigned student’s IEP goals. They will prepare reports and make recommendations for programming, as well as attend meetings as directed by the Principal.

 

This is a part-time position (5 hours per week).

 

Salary Range: (commensurate with experience)

With Master's degree: $33.41 - $36.67 per hour

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Education with active NYS certification as an ENL instructor

 

EXPERIENCE: Experience providing ENL services to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
