About the role
Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will:
- Utilize the nursing process in the delivery of patient care on their unit, for a specified group of patients, on a designated shift.
- Use written, verbal and nonverbal communication skills effectively and considerately.
- Promote compassionate, efficient, cost-effective and quality patient care.
- Incorporate teaching principles into practice.
- Demonstrate qualities consistent with the role of the registered nurse.
Floating to other departments when there is low census may be required.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
- Previous psychiatric experience
- Current RN License in Vermont
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Certification (preferred)
