Research Assistant, Center on Health Insurance Reform (CHIR) - McCourt School of Public Policy

The Research Assistant will be responsible for supporting CHIR research faculty on grant-supported research and technical assistance projects. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage CHIR communications, social media, and dissemination of content.

• Build databases and supporting data collection and organization.

• Schedule and assist with the planning and execution of CHIR events (such as public panels, webinars, and roundtables).

• Design and format documents and presentations, monitoring project impacts for funders and offering general office support.

Work Interactions

This position is funded by research grants. The research assistant will be supervised by research professors Sabrina Corlette, Christine Monahan, and Carrie Graham and collaborate with other research faculty and staff.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience working in an office setting

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and Google Suites

• Experience with website maintenance communications software (e.g. Mailchimp) a plus

• The ideal candidate will have had a professional internship or at least one year of full-time work experience

Pay Range:

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:

$41,926.00 - $65,090.00

Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
