We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have global experience in accounting principles, Consolidation & a passion for working within a high performing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data across the group.

  • Playing a pivotal role in preparing the group financial statements, contributing to the accurate portrayal of the company's financial health.

  • Implementing robust processes and controls to maintain the integrity of financial records, guaranteeing completeness and accuracy.

  • Developing comprehensive working papers to substantiate the group financial statements, ensuring transparency and compliance.

  • Participating in intercompany reconciliations at a company-wide level, ensuring alignment and accuracy in financial reporting.

  • Assisting and liaising with country finance managers to ensure adherence to established processes and controls.

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to design, build, and improve the company's reporting systems.

  • Playing a key role in audits by providing necessary documentation and collaborating with external auditors to facilitate the process.

  • Engaging in ad-hoc projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting processes.

Qualification:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • CPA qualification with a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably within SAAS, Tech, or Public companies.

  • Advantageous experience in high-tech departments within Big 4 firms.

  • Advantageous familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.

  • Prior experience working with multinational companies, understanding the complexities of global financial consolidation.

  • Proficient in using various systems and MS Office applications to handle financial data and reporting.

  • Well-organized with high attention to detail, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities to navigate complex financial scenarios and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams.
