Summary

Provides administrative and or clerical support generally to the Fleet Maintenance Department.  Works under moderate supervision.  May see the advice of more advanced staff.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answers phone including fielding questions, re-directing calls and taking messages.
  • Communicates with customers, associates and others to answer questions, address complaints and explain information.
  • Maintains general company record systems to uphold accurate files.
  • Assist Warranty Manager with reporting and data entry.
  • Work with Department of Motor Vehicles to renew and/or replace tags, licenses, permits etc.
  • Utilize company maintenance software to monitor and report preventative maintenance schedules, assist in purchasing and receiving data entry.
  • Assist with fuel reporting, invoicing and data entry.
  • Assist Regional Fleet Manager and Maintenance Director as needed.
  • All other tasks as assigned by management.

Minimum Education

High School or equivalent

Experience Requirements

  • 2 -4 years related experience.
  • Knowledge of standard software applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Experience Preferred

  • 2-4 years of related work experience.
  • Strong reading, writhing, math and communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  • Normal climate-controlled office environment.
  • Able to move freely throughout the Feed Mill setting.
  • Able to communicate on the telephone and proficiently use office equipment.
  • May be exposed to noise ranges of 50dB to 110dB.
  • Must wear and use protective safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
