We’ve built a team of creators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders to unlock endless possibility for our customers and partners with the power of OCI. We are now seeking an excellent Senior Regional Manager (SRM) to lead a field sales team in our machine learning vertical. 

The ideal candidate for the SRM role will have passions for leadership and ground breaking technology. This role requires a technical foundation, with knowledge of the machine learning industry and Oracle’s dedication to computing cloud services. 

 

  • 5+ years of cloud sales management, or comparable experience.  (IaaS)
  • Experience overachieving large quotas or a demonstrated success managing a P&L.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, ability to present to large and small audiences. 
  • Ability to hire and train top talent.
  • Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. 
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities. 
  • Experience navigating long sales cycles in a matrix environment with demonstrated experience in complex commercial structures.
  • Experience selling cloud infrastructure or related services at other cloud-based companies.
  • Experience within Healthcare/Life Sciences is required

Career Level - M3

Overall responsibility for the sales, third party alliances, and customer happiness surrounding OCI’s high performance computing services to Enterprise Healthcare and Life Sciences customers. 

Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions, and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the organization. Builds effective working relationships with applications, license, consulting, and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans.

Develops and executes a territory plan to improve revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

Assists in the development of short-, medium-, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important.

US: Hiring Range: from $115,000 to $232,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
