Oracle Health Government Services is seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our mission-driven organization.  Oracle Health Government Services is seeking a Communications Specialist to drive communication strategies within our dynamic, purpose-driven organization. In this role, you’ll design and execute communication initiatives for federal healthcare programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams and client partners. Your expertise in communications, knowledge of the federal government, and an understanding of healthcare environments will be key to your success.

Responsibilities: 

  • Identify, manage, and report on communication opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and launch impactful communication campaigns.
  • Ensure work product and deliverables meet or exceed quality requirements.
  • Create and curate communication materials from concept to completion including white papers, articles, web pages, social media, presentations and other marketing collateral.
  • Partner with leaders and colleagues to gain an understanding of business goals, strategy, and solutions in the healthcare industry to create content for assigned projects.
  • Craft messaging for strategic priorities and support leadership in cascading information across teams.
  • Manage and optimize communications within and across platforms.
  • Advise stakeholders on emerging communication trends and recommend proactive strategies to leverage opportunities or mitigate risks.

Top skills or competencies to be successful:

  • Exceptional writing and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to distill complex topics into clear, accessible messaging
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal communication abilities and an awareness of innovative communication platforms
  • Collaborative team player

Education, certifications, or experience (preferred/required):

  • Bachelors plus a minimum of 5 years experience in communications 
  • Previous Federal government experience preferred
  • Required travel up to 20%
  • US Citizenship is required with an ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. 

Location:  Rosslyn, VA office

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $71,200 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
