About the role
Amazon's Worldwide Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Value-Added Services team seeks a dynamic Business Development Manager to grow our vendor network across US and Canada. As the primary point of contact for prospective vendors, you'll lead strategic sourcing and partnership development to support our network of 2,000+ entrepreneur-owned delivery businesses. Operating at the intersection of global strategy and regional implementation, you'll manage a robust deal pipeline, conduct vendor assessments, and ensure smooth onboarding execution while providing valuable market intelligence. You'll identify and onboard high-quality vendors providing essential business services that help DSPs reduce cognitive load, operate safely and efficiently, and maintain compliance with Amazon's program standards. About the VAS Team: The Value-Added Services (VAS) team plays a crucial role in enabling DSP success. We source and manage fit-for-purpose, cost-effective products and services that support the operational demands of last-mile delivery while ensuring compliance with Amazon's program standards. We value candidates who balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, demonstrate sound judgment in vendor selection, and show creativity in solving complex business challenges. Experience with small-to-medium businesses or logistics industry is preferred, as is familiarity with vendor management systems and contracting processes. This role requires domestic travel approximately 20-30% of the time to support vendor relationships and program initiatives.
