Basic Function

The Talent Acquisition Special Projects Lead will assist the Operations Manager to create consistencies in our processes, improve team efficiency, and allow for scaling. They will improve operational efficiency to assist in change management across the organization.

 

The Talent Acquisition Special Projects Lead provides operational and analytical support for the Talent Acquisition department, with particular emphasis on supporting special projects, initiatives and operations relating to our diversity, equity and inclusion recruiting and hiring efforts. 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintains existing reporting from SuccessFactors, makes updates as needed to meet changing business requirements, develops new reports as needed by Talent Acquisition (TA) and Business Partners to expand our understanding of trends and opportunity areas. 
  • Build recruiting dashboards for metrics, pipeline models, data visualization, and business reporting. Continuous exploration of opportunities to leverage other reporting/dashboarding tools to improve accessibility/visibility of TA data. 
  • Partners with HRMS and other partners on accessing additional data sets outside of those owned by TA to enable reporting on the full TA lifecycle, including onboarding, performance, operational vacancy data, DEI, etc.
  • One of the primary systems managers for TA systems, responsible for researching, recommending, planning, executing and testing back-end system changes and configurations to meet the needs of the business and TA department, leveraging members of the TA team for expertise, requirements gathering and testing to ensure value is maximized. 
  • Leads select TA improvement projects and leads the change request process, including request intake, prioritization, governance, scheduling, operationalization and readiness. 
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to evaluate, measure and present results of improvement efforts to  Senior Manager, Global TA & University Recruiting and Senior Manager, Global TA & Operations.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, manage issues, problems, improvements to the recruiting and onboarding module and partner with the HRMS team to implement said improvements which will maximize workflow efficiency, while enhancing the candidate and internal stakeholder experience. Engage other external departments such ITS, Procurement, Security, Communications, etc. as necessary.
  • Design, develop and execute an internal and executive hire onboarding experiences that will guide employees and hiring managers through the recruiting and onboarding process.
  • Primary process owner and vendor relationship manager for eVerify.
  • Audit our workflows and reporting methodologies for reliable reporting.
  • Gather recruiting experience feedback on the interview, offer and onboarding experiences through real time surveys and hiring manager spot checks. 
  • Maintain relationships with vendors (Drug Screen, Concentra, LinkedIn, Background Check, etc.) to support recruiting initiatives and provide oversight through periodic audits and metrics.
  • Ensure all global processes meet compliance requirements and conduct internal audits of employee documents to monitor data integrity and compliance.

Min. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years of Talent Acquisition / Recruiting, recruiting operations or project management experience.
  • Experience introducing tools, platforms, and impactful programs.
  • Management of vendor relationships.
  • Experience with a variety of databases including SuccessFactors HCM and ability to manage data across multiple platforms.
  • A combination of writing and analytical skills, and the ability to clearly describe an insight and support that with data.
  • Must have initiative, high energy, strong sense of urgency and the ability to handle many projects efficiently and successfully.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information in a discreet and professional manner with a strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
  • Extensive experience with Excel reporting. (Power BI preferred)
  • Creativity, flexibility, and the ability to problem-solve and navigate complicated situations.
  • Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure a high level of data integrity.
  • Attention to detail and a track record of continuous process improvements and driving projects to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, presentation and critical thinking skills, including the ability to routinely interface at all levels of the organization quickly and interchangeably.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
