Insurance Product Delivery Intern

Following corporate rules, guidelines and governance for processing policy documentation the candidate will be responsible for the creation and delivery of insurance policies and invoices. This role will assist in maintaining aspects of client information in all appropriate systems; interacting with internal and external clients. Work at this level needs to be verified and approved.

 

Position is located in Johnston Rhode Island, FM Global Corporate Offices

Responsibilities

In a team environment, using internal systems, the candidate will be responsible for creating policies and invoices, distributing insurance documentation to clients and third-party entities, and tracking the creation, quality and issuance of policy and invoice documentation. Using excel and Power BI the candidate will assist in monthly reporting used by department and organization leadership.

 

The position reports to the Insurance Product Services Manager, responsible for the coaching and development of the Insurance Product team.

Qualifications

Experience:  1 year work experience

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, primarily Excel
• Good Communication skills, both oral and written in English.
• Embraces teamwork but with an ability to work independently

• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and proofreading skills
• Time management
• Flexibility/adaptability to change
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficiency in English is required, additional language skills preferred.

The hiring range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
