What You Will Do:

The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a Welder for 2nd shift hours are Monday-Friday, 3:00PM - 11:30PM. You will receive a shift differential when working on 2nd shift of 8%.
Employees are subject to train on 1st shift.  1st shift hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30AM-3:00PM. Overtime opportunity may be available, after a period of training.
Pratt & Whitney PSD is an FAA regulated facility, and compliance with such rules is a condition of employment. PSD is a clean, well-lit, state-of-the-art machining center in a climate-controlled facility. 

• Interpret weld blueprints, specifications, and work instructions accurately.
• Prepare and fixture components, ensuring proper alignment, cleanliness, and readiness for welding.
• Perform manual bench and electron beam welding in accordance with defined process parameters and quality standards.
• Monitor equipment and weld conditions, complete inspections, and address or escalate weld defects appropriately.
• Maintain equipment, follow all documentation and traceability requirements, and adhere to weld‑specific safety protocols.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Previous experience in welding, precision manufacturing, or related operations preferred.
• Technical proficiency in weld processes and equipment operation.
• Problem‑solving and ability to recognize abnormal weld conditions.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.

Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
