Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer (IoT)

CUSTOMER
The leading European heating technology company that develops, manufactures, and markets a wide range of eco-friendly, energy-efficient solutions for indoor climate comfort in all property types, plus components and solutions for intelligent heating and control in industry and infrastructure. 

PROJECT
The project includes the development of smart home climate solutions for a client operating in the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) domain. Together with the client, we bring smart climate solutions in terms of wireless connectivity and intelligent control for any property, whether it is an apartment block, an industrial building, a hotel, or a country house, to help reduce energy consumption for our client’s customers and society at large.

Job Description

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes of software applications and services 
• Continuously improve speed, efficiency, scalability, and stability of continuous integration system and environment 
• Implement and maintain robust security practices, including access controls, vulnerability assessments, and data protection 
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that the infrastructure and deployment architecture meet application requirements and best practices 
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams 
• Lead the department to implement the DevOps culture with best practices and training 

Qualifications

• Understanding of CI/CD flows and best practices, improving existing flows 
• Jenkins: freestyle jobs and Jenkins pipeline creation and support, user management, plugins setup 
• CMake: write CMakeLists files to compile new projects, and manage existing ones 
• Qt compilation tools: write QMake scripts, support already existing scripts 
• Experience with GitHub: familiarity with Git best practices (versioning, branching models, pre-commit hooks, etc.) 
• Proficiency with GitHub Actions 
• Bash scripting 
• Experience with Docker (composing Dockerfiles, knowledge about orchestration tools, etc.) 
• Experience with virtualization (VMWare, VirtualBox) 
• Linux CLI, Windows CLI, PowerShell experience  
• Basic knowledge of binary compilation 
• Experience with gathering Code test coverage and static code analysis tools 
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

WOULD BE A PLUS: 

• C++, C# basic understanding
