Senior Analyst, Compensation

Position Summary:

Conducts analysis and interpretation related to the organization’s compensation programs globally.  Leads salary survey participation including job matching.  Supports development of salary grade structure.

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

• Evaluates the organizations job descriptions, gives feedback as needed
• Matches our jobs to available salary surveys and provides organizational data to these surveys
• Conducts market analysis of company jobs to determine competitive positioning of the organizations pay programs
• Participates in annual salary administration programs, including salary structure creation and maintenance and development of incentive or salary increase budgets. Participates in administration of annual performance management, incentive, or salary increase programs.
• Partner with HRIS for ongoing data integrity checks
• Ensure HR systems are configured/maintained in a was that support overall compensation priorities and policy.
• Produce HR Metrics related to compensation and offer insights to the HR Team
• Provides guidance, coaching, and/or mentoring to HR Business Partners on compensation issues.
• Provides input on compensation policy and procedure creation.
• Generate compensation metrics and provide analysis and recommendations based on them.
• Supports US and Global compensation needs

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

• Demonstrated logic and analytical skills
• Strong fundamental math skills
• Advanced Excel skills needed.
• Strong communication skills with people at all levels of the organization
• Expertise in developing messaging to support compensation programs that is aimed at leadership and at employees

Other Required:

• Key competencies are Communication within the HR Team and the broader organization, Analysis/problem solving, Teamwork, and Self Starter
• Bachelor's degree in a related major and 8 or more years of experience in compensation.
• Performs work with a high degree of latitude. Handles the most complex issues.
• Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter.

Preferred:

• Global compensation experience
• experience in pharmaceutical company or industry directly related to one of our service lines.
• Experience with PayFactors and SuccessFactors a plus.
• Experience matching jobs, as well as designing and developing a salary grade structure.
• Has worked with general short term incentive plans and/or sales plans.

 

Precision is required by law in some states or cities to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $110k - $150k. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
