Job Description

Strategic Business Analyst 

In this position, you will deliver data-driven and user-friendly solutions supporting Demand Management, Sales/Marketing and peripheral teams leveraging innovative system and process design.  Your work will require interaction with many different groups across the organization.  The resulting impact of your work should help increase the efficiency of our business processes and improve the availability of critical business management data. You will work with custom solutions, established software systems, and external data to produce the optimal answer to questions posed from all levels within Skyworks.  The ideal candidate has an eye for efficiency, an ease of communication, and a knack for productivity, and will easily use all of these to make a positive impact at Skyworks.  

 

Responsibilities: 

• Ownership of Market Model Dashboards to Provide Marketing Teams with Long Term Insights 
• Develop Reporting to Support Rebate Management Process for Sales and Finance 
• Drive External Financial Data Comparisons to Support Modeling for Supplier, Competitor and Partner Metrics 
• Support Demand Management Team with Advice and Development for Customer Specific Dashboards 
• Develop and Manage Data Integrity Solutions that Provide Constant Checks, Resolution, and Process Enhancement for Master Data and Financial Metrics. 
• Manage and Maintain Customer and Material Attributes to Continuously Align with Business Structure and Priorities 

 

Qualifications and Educational Requirements: 

• Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal, with technical resources as well as non-technical users and management 
• Willingness to embrace uncertainty and drive to learn new concepts and ideas 
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated across multiple years and projects 
• Experience and/or desire to learn about the semiconductor industry from a financial perspective 
• Familiar with Planning Processes within a Manufacturing Business 
• Comfortable working on a diverse, multi-site team 
• Demonstrated understanding of Pricing and Cost Structures and their impact on the P&L 
• Experience creating reports in Business Intelligence Systems (Power BI preferred) 
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, computer science or a relevant field 

Preferred Skills: 

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including VBA) and PowerPoint 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (e.g., Teams, Power Apps, Power BI) 
Experience with data modeling and data analytics, preferably with knowledge of SQL,  Alteryx, Knime or similar data ETL tools

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $74,800 - $135,400 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
