Business Development Lead

The Business Development Lead for Professional Consulting Services will play a strategic role
in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This individual will work
collaboratively with client partners, delivery teams, and executive leadership to sell solutions
that include advisory services, project-based engagements, and managed services.
After 18–24 months, this role will also take on responsibility for building and leading a small
business development team to support expanding client demand and scale Yoh's consulting
practice across key verticals and regions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Identify and develop new consulting business opportunities in enterprise IT, cloud,
    data, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Cross-selling staff augmentation when
    the opportunity arises.
  • Engage with C-level stakeholders to understand business challenges and position
    Yoh’s consulting capabilities as a solution
  • Create tailored service proposals and SOWs (Statements of Work) in collaboration
    with consulting, delivery, and subject matter experts.
  • Lead the sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through presentation,
    negotiation, and contract execution. Also, represent Yoh at industry events and
    networking forums to expand brand awareness and establish thought leadership
  • Collaborate across Yoh divisions (e.g., talent, staffing, and solutions) to identify crosssell
    opportunities and maintain a robust pipeline using Salesforce or CRM tools, and
    deliver accurate forecasts to senior leadership.

The Big Picture – Top Skills You Should Possess:

  • Proven track record of consultative selling into mid-size to enterprise accounts, with success in achieving or exceeding quotas.
  • Deep understanding of IT services, digital strategy, and enterprise project delivery models.
  • Experience building client relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and VPs of IT. 
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and proposal development skills.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree or relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Five plus years in business development or sales for professional services, consulting, or IT solutions - required

 

Must be able to perform the following physical and mental tasks, with or without a reasonable accommodation:

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $112,880 - $169,320. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.)
