Within Systems Integration and Test (SI&T), we are seeking a Operations Analyst to support the Transformation & Initiatives (T&I) department. The T&I department provides subject matter support focused on driving affordability, process improvement, and cost‑informed decision‑making initiatives.

As a Operations Analyst, you will support the Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) Affordability team and contribute to Design‑to‑Unit Production Cost (DTUPC), 890‑series cost modeling, AUPC analysis, and cost‑informed decision support across programs.

This is an ONSITE position based in Tucson, AZ.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

As a Operations Analyst, you will work under the guidance of experienced analysts and engineers to support affordability and cost‑analysis activities across the product lifecycle.

• Support data collection, organization, and analysis for cost and affordability studies
• Assist with DTUPC, 890‑series, and life‑cycle cost model inputs using Excel‑based tools
• Support preparation of cost‑informed trade study inputs and analysis
• Assist with supplier cost data, production rate data, and AUPC modeling
• Prepare charts, tables, dashboards, and briefing materials for leadership reviews
• Support documentation of cost modeling processes and tools
• Participate in training and mentorship activities within the Affordability & Cost Modeling community

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics,  Data Analytics,     Mathematics, or related discipline
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government–issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required
• Academic coursework, projects, or internships demonstrating analytical, financial, cost, or data modeling experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Internship or project experience in cost analysis, finance, business analytics, engineering, or manufacturing
• Exposure to cost modeling, AUPC/DTUPC concepts, or production data analysis
• Familiarity with Excel, MATLAB, Python, or Power BI
• Interest in affordability, cost modeling, and data‑driven decision making
