What We Want
The School of Law is seeking an Administrative Associate who brings strong organization, clear communication, and a warm, professional presence to a busy academic office. In this role, you’ll help maintain accurate records and spreadsheets, manage filing systems and tracking logs, and serve as a helpful first point of contact for student and registrar requests. You’ll use your customer service skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite or data‑entry tools to route inquiries, support daily workflows, and keep information moving smoothly. You’ll also assist with administrative processes such as verifying forms, monitoring expenses, coordinating travel, managing inventory, and supporting exam‑related activities. This position is ideal for someone who can provide a high level of administrative support through multitasking, taking initiative and successfully working with others to create an efficient, supportive environment for our office community.
What You Need to Know
Salary: $20.00 - $23.00/hourly (Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience).

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
High school graduation or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years of experience in general office or clerical work.
Preferred Education
Associate's Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
3-5 years of full-time experience in a student affairs; student services; registrar, admissions or similar higher education office.
Notary Public or willingness to train and serve as Notary Public.
1 year of front facing customer service or receptionist experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and/or data entry applications.

Essential Duties/Tasks
Record Management
Maintains and organizes electronic and physical filing systems, student records, document imaging systems, and tracking databases.
Scans, indexes, verifies, retrieves, and archives records in accordance with established procedures.
Maintains attendance records, examination records, grade submission tracking logs, graduation-related documentation, and other academic records.
Creates and maintains spreadsheets and reports to monitor request status, workflow progress, deadlines, and record accuracy.
Clerical Support
Serves as the primary point of intake for student services and registrar-related requests.
Receives, logs, categorizes, routes, and tracks requests through completion.
Reviews and responds to general departmental email and voicemail inquiries, provides information regarding office procedures and deadlines, and routes complex inquiries to appropriate staff members.
