Your Role:
We have an exciting new role in Haverhill for a Maintenance Technician, this is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their engineering skills in a well-supported role. The role involves conducting preventive maintenance checks, tests, and calibration, as well as contributing to the construction and implementation of equipment and systems. Responsibilities include data entry, overseeing visiting contractors to ensure compliance and safety, and addressing routine issues through fixes. Additionally, the position involves assisting in the maintenance of the departmental quality management system and a commitment to learning more advanced engineering methods and techniques.
Who You Are:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English
- Logical fault finding skills
- Computer literate
- Engineering craft apprenticeship or NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in engineering (desired)
- Knowledge of ISO or similar quality management systems, specifically CAPA (desired)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques (desired)
- Good understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics and electronics (desired)
