Automotive Detailer

As an Automotive Detailer you will be responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness of stock and customer vehicles. From performing basic cleaning services to minor detail work, you will need to be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and have great attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Wash and vacuum vehicles.
• Perform minor detail work.
• Prepare stock and customer vehicles for delivery.
• Maintain a safe work environment by using PPE at all times.
• Help with general shop cleanup.
• As required, drive customer and stock vehicles around company property.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts as requested.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Required to perform work inside and outside, in all-weather situations, at the shop division location.
• Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
• Manual dexterity, fine manipulation and the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery.
• Requires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery.
• Normal range of hearing and vision.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
• Attention to detail.
• Customer relation skills.
• Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
