The Division of Rheumatology in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine/ Stanford Medicine Children’s Health is recruiting a Clinician Educator as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
We expect the successful candidate to participate primarily in the care of patients under the care of the Rheumatology service. Primary responsibilities will include participation in the care of patients under the care of the Rheumatology clinical inpatient and outpatient services. Outpatient services will be related primarily to pediatric rheumatology patients with some clinic time devoted to pediatric rheumatology patients. The inpatient consult service will include rheumatology at LPCH and SHC, a patient population that includes both adults and children. The successful candidate will be involved in formal and informal teaching of rheumatology fellows.
Successful candidates should have an MD or equivalent degree with board eligibility or board certification in the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) in Pediatric Rheumatology and have medical licensure in California by the starting date.
