Job Description

The Focus of Your Role

As Product Owner – Cyber Security, you will lead the definition and delivery of cybersecurity capabilities across agile squads. You will be responsible for translating business needs into secure, scalable solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and compliance standards. This role is critical to embedding security into the product lifecycle and driving innovation in threat mitigation and resilience.

You will:

Own the product backlog for cybersecurity features and services.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to define secure-by-design solutions.

Prioritise epics and user stories based on risk, business value, and technical feasibility.

Ensure delivery aligns with regulatory and compliance frameworks.

Champion DevSecOps practices and threat modelling across squads.

What You’ll Do

Define and maintain the cybersecurity product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical strategy.

Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning in collaboration with Scrum Masters and engineering teams.

Embed security requirements into all stages of the product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.

Work closely with enterprise architects to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant.

Facilitate stakeholder engagement across business units, including risk, compliance, and IT operations.

Monitor product performance and security posture, driving continuous improvement.

Support incident response and vulnerability remediation planning.

Ensure documentation and audit trails meet internal and external standards.

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience as a Product Owner in cybersecurity or infrastructure domains.

Strong understanding of threat modelling, secure software development, and DevSecOps.

Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience working in agile environments and using tools like Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Certified Product Owner are desirable.

Job Description - Grade Specific

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $132,396-$259,600.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
