Sr. Manager, Portfolio Development

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Portfolio Development is responsible for managing and driving both the innovation and collaborative pipelines for Glanbia’s Premix, Nutrient, and Bakery businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating and aligning with Premix PSM leadership to provide clear and prioritized direction to all internal and external development resources in support of Glanbia’s Premix, Nutrient, and Bakery businesses.
• Managing the priority and execution of the collaborative and innovation pipeline of Glanbia’s Premix, Nutrient, and Bakery businesses.
• Owning and driving the continuous improvement of Glanbia’s Project Review and Innovation Review meetings.
• Collaborating and coordinating with other departments to facilitate the delivery of innovation, customer collaboration, and other development initiatives.
• Participating in relevant customer and market events in support of Glanbia’s Premix, Nutrient, and Bakery businesses portfolios.
• Be a member and leader of cross functional teams where necessary.
• Provide internal and external trainings where needed.
• Managing and supporting both the commercialization team and processes.

 

 

Education, Training:      

• Bachelor’s Degree and preferred Masters degree, MS or MBA, preferably in a scientific background (Food Science, Nutrition Science).
• 5-10 yrs. related experience within the food and/or ingredients space
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and possess team-based problem solving skills.

 

 

This position will serve as the primary interface with Glanbia R&D teams in support of all Premix-related research and development. The Senior Manager will lead and liaise with cross-functional teams internally and externally to manage and deliver on all research and development initiatives in strategic support of the Premix, Nutrient, and Bakery businesses. This position will further serve as a key stakeholder between technology partners and other relevant Glanbia functions.
