Freelance Graphic Designer

We are seeking creative Freelance Graphic Designers with an affinity for helping businesses grow. The ideal candidates will have a passion for innovative design, a keen eye for detail, and experience in creating static ads, landing pages, and banner ads for Facebook, YouTube (and other such ad platforms) for digital direct response campaigns. This role will work closely with our Creative Strategists, Art Director, and Creative Director. Ideal availability would be 10–20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including communicating design concepts with clear reasoning behind proposed solutions.

Collaboration: Work closely and cross-functionally with the team of Strategists, Managers, Directors, and Designers to develop concepts and marketing campaign materials for clients.

Deadline Adherence: Manage your workflow effectively, track time, meet project deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of design assets using our internal project management system.

Creative Input: Contribute innovative ideas and creative solutions as necessary to elevate the overall quality of design projects.

Feedback Incorporation: Actively incorporate feedback from Growth Strategists and Creative Leaders to refine and iterate designs and ensure alignment with project goals.

Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of your own work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project objectives.

Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines or the creative brief for each client and maintain a consistent visual look and feel across all touch points.

Design Development:

• Produce high-quality, engaging marketing assets for various mediums, including but not limited to social media graphics, guides, case studies, paid ads and infographics.

• Resize and recompose designs for various deliverables

• Create logos, branding and guidelines and be able to scale design concepts across various types of marketing materials.

• Design landing pages in Unbounce (or similar), and WordPress CMS using builder functionalities.

• Create full website designs or elements of website design that are responsive and follow UX/UI best practices.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in creative ads, A/B testing, web design, and CRO, emphasizing design rather than data analysis. This is not an entry-level position. No current students or recent graduates, please!

• A portfolio demonstrating design (bonus points for light motion graphic/video editing skills that enhance user experience and conversion rates.

• Strong visual storytelling ability (design that evokes emotion, and emphasizes main points in the copy while keeping a clear call to action).

• Ability to distill creative briefs, concepts, and client business goals into creative solutions.

• Independent problem solver who is resourceful, organized & meticulous.

• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and InDesign

• Strong eye for choosing photography for use in key art development

• Obsessed with, design, branding, video, content, and advertising.

• Dialed into the industry: i.e. involved in X/Twitter, Meta, and YouTube.

• Bonus: Experience, knowledge, or interest in branding, finance, tech, storytelling, and product design.
