Job Responsibilities:

The Senior Technician is responsible for supporting our Utility Sector with data review and inventory of record information, assisting the design team with field support, and providing drafting support when needed. The CAD Designer is also responsible for mentoring CAD technicians, and assisting with QA/QC of CAD deliverables.

• Providing plan production services with teams of engineers and other technicians
• Coordinating with other project discipline’s models and design teams
• Working from plan markups, sketched information, and verbal direction
• Working independently and with others while working on multiple projects
• Delivering quality documents using company standards and systems

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10 years of AutoCAD Civil 3D design drafting experience
•  Work requires a thorough working knowledge of drafting techniques and proficiency in the use of CAD workstations and associated peripherals to develop finished drawings
• Accuracy, quality, completeness, and schedule adherence can be maintained independently, while maintaining and increasing proficiency in operations and recommending new methods and procedures

• Ability to meet deadlines
• Detail oriented and well organized
• Able to work on multiple projects concurrently
• Effective verbal and written communicator
• Effective interpersonal capabilities

Work Schedule:  Part-Time position involving up to 40 hours per week but typically 10-20 hours, typically Monday through Friday during normal 8:00am to 5:00pm business hours.

Compensation and Benefits: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
